What if I don’t know all the property details?

It is necessary and vital to know the property details. Property details assist the sales department in determining the price of the job to be done. Quotes are determined by the number of rooms, and extra rooms if there are other areas to cover like a garden, garage, additional reception rooms, loft, conservatory, and any other information concerning the property. A floor plan will help solve this issue. If a floor plan is not available, then a visit to the property and a pre-inspection assessment will have to be conducted (provided complete access is granted).

How do I communicate with the clerk?

The clerk assigned to your job order will usually communicate with you, the client, to carry out a smooth inspection and reporting process.

Can I change the booking time?

Yes. Please give us ample time notice. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Please ensure the notice is acknowledged. It is very inconvenient for an inventory clerk to visit the property only to find out that the appointment has been rescheduled. The clerk will usually request compensation, and rightly so.

What if there is a problem with the delivered report?

Reports sent are subject to review and amendments. Please contact us for amendments, if any.

Sometimes traffic conditions and other life issues come into play, even after one has planned the day and schedules. Our clerks are professional enough to call clients in the event of a delay, to express apologies and estimate the time of arrival.

This is very rare. In the event of a no-show there is a compensation scheme. If, for any reason, the clerk is unable to meet an appointment, the client will be contacted and a reschedule agreed. On the other hand, we have a reasonable number of clerks in our team to make sure this does not occur, by finding another clerk to meet our appointment obligation.

Reports are painstakingly prepared. A typical report takes a minimum of 24 to 48 hours, after inspection, to complete. Officially the turnaround time for a report is three to five working days. If there is reason to extend the completion time, the client will be notified. There is a compensation scheme for late submissions.

  • Meter readings which can be later used to set up accounts for the available utilities.
  • Photographic evidence to support the initially documented content.
  • In checkout cases, allocation of liability for damage.
